Understanding Foot Fetishes

I am not a psychologist and I don't play one on t.v.
From where I stand, foot fetishes are one of the most healthy, misunderstoon fetishes that exist. There isn't anything wrong with admiring feet. As a matter of fact, I have a friend that I've known for 3 decades that has the most amazing feet - and he is still unaware of how much I admire them.
It's a treat to go out for lunch in the summer just to gaze at his long, lean, well-manicured peds under the table.
So what is there to understand? I find it tedious that "society" feels like everything has to be analyzed to death and labeled. I believe that is in order for pharmaceutical companies to develop a pill for it. Take "inadequate eyelashes", for example. Really?
I myself have a foot fetish and that's why I built a business around it. People instruct you to "do what you love and it's not a job", right? Wrong. There is a lot of work involved in maintaining a proper business, no matter what it is. Sometimes it takes the joy out of your passion - but only for a short while. When "work" is over though, the admiration, passion and love of feet comes back to its normal place (normal for me) and all is right with the world.
So why worry about "why people love feet" or "why do people sexualize feet"? Foot fetishes and foot love is no more odd or unusual than people who sexualize ice cream or cigars. It's just what people do.
